Freezing conditions didn't stop the best turnout in recent history for the 40th edition of the Mitre Hard Riders TT with 17 riders braving the weather.
The win was taken by Steve Kane of Brighton Excelsior with a 59:22 which is very fast for the course even in good conditions.
Luke Farren was 2nd overall and the fastest Mitre with 1:01:28 on his road bike, a very impressive performance.

Special mention to Phil, who after sustaining a puncture still stood on the road side in the freezing cold and encouraged other riders still competing. A quality Mitre rider, and class act both on and off the bike!!!
