This a reminder to all you Mitres out there to partake in the Truleigh Hill hill-climb time trials that are taking place on the 19th and 26th April (both Tuesday evenings). Truleigh Hill is a climb that can be ridden well by true climbers and burly time-trialists alike, due to the low gradient of the climb. Due to it's length, it is also great for building the sort of strength that will serve you well in a break in a race.
So, for all you Mitre riders who fancy testing themselves, or have aspirations to race and want to improve their power, it will be great to see you down there supporting Robin Johnson, who does a great job in organising these.

About the Club
- Brighton Mitre Cycling Club was founded in 1894 in the now-defunct "Mitre" public house in Brighton. Well into our second century, the club is still extremely active, and aims to promote all aspects of competitive and lesiure cycling, both on- and off-road. We welcome new members! Club rides for roadies depart Caffé Nero in Hove at 8.30am on Saturdays; a fast-paced, structured training ride for those with racing licences or ambitions to compete, and a more steady, social ride for anyone wishing to take it easy.
