I'm putting together the new social ride leader rota for April/May/June.
Based on the discussions at the AGM the format will stay mainly the same but a "come and try it" ride will be held on the first Saturday of each month which will be 25-30 mile easy loop for anyone who would like to try a ride with the club but isn't sure of their ability. This ride will have a separate ride leader.
Ride leaders are expected to:
- Plan the route
- Organise the groups at Cafe Nero and also give the ride briefing
- Look after the ride on the road, making sure people are riding in the group correctly
I'll assume the regular ride leaders are OK to go onto the new rota unless I hear otherwise. Also please let me know any dates you cannot do or would prefer to do.
New ride leaders are also encouraged so please let me know if you would like to go onto the rota, especially any of our regular Saturday riders (race or social).
The more people we have the less often everyone has to go onto the rota so please let me know.
